Drink Recipe Of The Month // January

As winter is well and truly here, we’re drawn to the warmth of this spicy number from Dishoom, a favourite restaurant of ours whose cuisine pays homage to the Irani cafes and food of Bombay. If you’d like to try out their take on a Pina Colada, with or without the addition of alcohol, you can get the recipe below.

DISHOOM’S VIRGIN (OR NOT) COLABA COLADA

Dishoom

INGREDIENTS (Serves 1)

70ml Pineapple Juice
30ml coconut cream
20ml lime juice
60ml white rum (optional)
8g ground cinnamon
6g fresh ginger
½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
A pinch of coriander
1 cup of crushed ice

If you’re going for the alcoholic version, add 60ml white rum


METHOD

Add all of the above ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy.
