Refunds and returns
How cancellation, reprints and refunds work for personalised photo puzzles.

Draft for review — not yet final legal advice
This text describes how Piecemeal (piecemealpuzzles.com, trading as Puzzlvent) works today. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer, and some commercial details (company number, registered address, exact retention windows) still need your formal confirmation. It is published so customers can read how we handle photos and orders while that review happens.
Personalised products
A puzzle printed from your photograph is made for you. It cannot be resold as stock. Under UK/EU consumer rules, the standard 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts usually does not apply once manufacturing of a personalised item has begun.
That does not remove your rights if the product is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described.
Before we print
If you change your mind before we submit the job to our print partner, email support@piecemealpuzzles.com with your order number as soon as possible. If we have not yet sent the order to production, we will cancel and refund the payment method used.
Once the order is with the printer, cancellation is generally not available, except where the law requires otherwise or we agree as a goodwill gesture.
Damaged, misprinted or missing pieces
If the puzzle arrives damaged, with a clear print defect, or with missing pieces, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a reprint or a refund of the product price (and reasonable return shipping if we ask you to send anything back).
Colour differences between your screen and the printed board alone are not treated as defects.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer (often a few working days after we process the refund).
